I have been training and previously coaching at CrossFit Whakatāne for around 8 years. Before joining the CrossFit Whakatāne gym I had trialled different methods of training previous to see what I was into. I really like the variety and constant challenge the programming offers. Workouts can be scaled to suit all fitness levels and physical needs. Knowledgeable coaches who always strive to maintain a safe and engaging environment. A bonus is that the coaches also sign up to frequent training programmes to upkeep their own skills to offer our members the best coaching. Being overweight, I never wanted to go to a gym because I never knew what to do, and then I ended up being on the treadmill for 10 minutes and going home. At CrossFit Whakatane, your workout is already waiting for you. No one is judging you based on your looks or capabilities. Awesome Coaches, always willing to help with alternative movements if you can't do a specific move so that you can still get the full workout. Best gym ever, I even got my husband to join as well.
